Science isn’t just knowledge — it's a way of acquiring scientific concepts and principles. Science gets students interested in investigating the world around them. As they learn facts and vocabulary, they develop the ability to use the scientific method to learn more by investigations or experiments. Then they take the information they've discovered and try to develop explanations based on what they saw. Below you will find a partial list of the subjects that your second grader will be investigating. We will be completing many different projects to help with our investigations.
